We collect minimal data: (a) Email address — optional, only when you voluntarily provide it via the Contribute form for pairing approval notifications; (b) IP address — hashed (SHA-256) for anonymous analytics and rate-limiting; (c) Usage data — page views and interaction events, associated with a hashed IP only; (d) Language preference — stored in a browser cookie.
2. Payment Data (Stripe)
Pro subscriptions are processed by Stripe, Inc. Gustatory never stores your card number, CVV, or full payment details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data: stripe.com/privacy.
3. Cookies
We use a single first-party cookie (gustatory_locale) to remember your language preference. No third-party tracking cookies are set. No advertising cookies. You may clear this cookie in your browser settings at any time.
4. Data Retention
Email addresses provided by contributors are stored for as long as they have an active chef profile. Hashed analytics data is retained for up to 12 months. You may request deletion at any time.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at gustatory@polsia.app. We will respond within 30 days.
